Casey is a graduate of Marshall High School, class of 1994. After graduation, he attended Baylor University earned a BBA in Entrepreneurship and Management of Information Systems. Casey attended Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law in Dallas. Casey earned his law degree from SMU in two and a half years and graduated cum laude with honors.
During his career Casey has served as lead counsel and second chair in numerous trials obtaining significant jury awards in cases involving car wrecks, trucking wrecks, defective products and unsafe premises. Casey is admitted to practice law in all Texas state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Casey also represents wrongful death claims and Social Security Disability claims.
Casey has dedicated his practice to helping injured clients and making the community safer. Casey married his high school sweetheart Heather Labouve Carlile in 1998, and together they are the proud parents of three children. Casey is very involved in family life, his church and the local community. He is a member of First United Methodist Church and has served on numerous committees and in leadership positions. In his spare time Casey enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, watching sports, working in his yard and hanging out with friends.
Jennifer is a graduate of Jefferson High School, class of 2000. Jennifer graduated from East Texas Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 2006. She joined the firm in 2006 as a paralegal. She works directly with Mr. Carlile on the firm’s personal injury and social security disability claims.
She assists clients with all aspects of pre-litigation and the litigation process. She provides reliable assistance and serves as a listening ear to the clients. Jennifer is a member of State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division, Northeast Texas Association of Paralegals and a Notary Public for the State of Texas. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, listening to music, and playing games.
David C. Carlile has been practicing law in Harrison County and Texas Courts since 1974. David graduated from Baylor University Law School and is also a Certified Public Accountant. David has been helping East Texas folks for almost 50 years – fighting insurance companies – big corporations – toxic chemicals and unfair labor practices. In 1998 David’s oldest son, Scott, joined him as a partner in the Carlile Law Firm, LLP. Two years later David’s youngest son, Casey, joined the firm. Through the Carlile Law Firm, LLP, David has won or settled over $20,000,000.00 for his clients during his career. David has been married to Susan Carlile, his high school sweetheart, for over 44 years. He enjoys playing golf, traveling, and going to events for his five grandchildren in his free time.
David Scott Carlile was born in Waco, Texas and raised in Marshall, Texas. He is the oldest son of David and Susan Carlile. Scott graduated from Marshall High School in 1990 and attended Baylor University earning a BBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship. After graduation, Scott attended St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio. During law school, Scott clerked for Justice Rickhoff and Justice Duncan on the Fourth Court of Appeals.
Following graduation from law school, Scott returned to Marshall to practice law with his father, David, as an associate in the Law Offices of David C. Carlile. In 2000, Scott and David formed a new partnership, The Carlile Law Firm, LLP, to practice law. Scott has been practicing law for over 26 years and is admitted before all Texas State Courts, The US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, The US District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Scott has extensive experience trying civil cases over a wide range of topics including personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, divorce, child custody, and breach of contract. Scott has been married to his wife, Tracy, for 26 years and they have two sons – Gavin and Ian. Scott is a member of the Keenan Trial Institute, the American Board of Trial Advocates, the Association of Plaintiff Interstate Trucking Attorneys, the and Harrison County Bar Association.
